It’s a great way to show people the connection between land-based litter and the marine environment. We use biodegradable chalk paint and stencils donated by @lasercutit to remind people: “The sea starts here - please don’t litter”! 💙 Older sea saver Maia is one of the Next Wave pod that originally designed this campaign, so she took the time to explain how it all came about and also what a big problem cigarette butts are for the marine environment.
