After the litter pick yesterday, the Blue Starfish had a fascinating session with marine scientist Ailsa Mclellan, learning about climate change, biodiversity, the importance of the marine environment as a carbon sink and habitat, kelp, native oysters, why they’re brilliant and how their reintroduction locally is going….and loads more! Can’t wait to get out and get hands on helping Ailsa with her amazing work this summer!.
