The Next Wave was the second pod of sea savers to be formed, and includes the younger siblings of two of the Consultants. (We prize respect and especially respectful listening very highly, and this group set up, in part, to move away from any sibling-tensions that might undermine that.)

It also became apparent that a swathe of new young people of the age the Consultants were when they first set up the group were now ready to join - so a new pod was formed: The Next Wave!!

They have each selected a species to champion and have been working hard on their factfiles. had great success with their first big campaign: The Drain Campaign which has also developed into a partnership with another local girl, Megan and her #noifsnobutts campaign.

They have already done numerous impactful media appearances - they are all Gaelic speakers so we have come to rely on them (along with Caillin, our Gaelic speaking Consultant) to represent the group in Gaelic when required.
