Dealing with all the marine plastic we bring in from remote beaches

 

So when Green Hive in Nairn approached us with a potential solution, we were pretty excited! Here's some pics from a wee preliminary introductory visit our person-behind-the-scenes Janis did yesterday. They are doing some really brilliant stuff in their workshop identifying, separating, grinding and re-forming plastics into all sorts of useful and beautiful things.

 

 

We'll definitely be back asap - so the kids can bring samples of the types of waste we get, work out what is recyclable, and bounce ideas with the workshop guys about the things we could make.
