Decent weather yesterday allowed us our first all-access trips of the year and we finally got Bill "The Bull" out for a trip round the loch. Visited some familiar site from his travels to and from Stornoway on the ferry and also chatted about his days working with Charlie Macdonald and supplying stores to the klondykers. A few other tales and saying best kept quiet.... Was a grand trip, made possible by those who voted for us at the Tesco Ullapool blue token vote that funds the fuel, so thanks to all who did. Also, far easier with the new pontoons at Ullapool Harbour Trust which means we can keep the boat in all winter and grab opportunities like yesterday and get out for a wee trip.
