We've been putting a lot of work this week into learning about the differences between active and passive restoration, the importance of sensible pressure management measures and how that all fits with MPAs, so it was great to get a chance to discuss those things and other issues in person with some of the people behind the design of this draft plan. Obviously, this is something close to our hearts as we've been learning a lot about native oyster reintroduction in Loch Broom from Ailsa at Seawilding. Big thanks to them for taking the time to hear our views and answer our questions! https://www.gov.scot/.../draft-marine-coastal.../pages/4/ (We may also have left a sticker or two on the toilets.... 👌) Foundation Scotland Restless Development UK Youth Highland The Scottish Government Seawilding Sea-Changers Youth Highland Youth Highland Youth for the Environment Ailsa Mclellan Kat Bruce The Protected Areas Foundation Our Seas Arran Coast
