Back at the end of July some of the younger kids braved the midges

Blog 28 August 2025
On Tuesday, the conditions were right for Abbie, Maisy and Alisha to stop by to pick it up on the way back from creeling. It is a great system for getting plastic off our beaches and we're always keen to hear of other cleans needing uplifts by boat!
Newly PowerBoat2 ticketed Abbie did excellent work bringing Mada Chuain in to the shore through the weed - really good to see the skills being put to use! Alisha pretty shocked to see one of the items in the bag was an old coffee pod, even after all their work with the coffee pod campaign.
