On Friday, we had a very special guest aboard Mada-Chuain, Anne Milne, who is 103.

Blog 20 July 2025
We managed a tour up the loch to Tir Aluinn where Anne's family lived, and we found out she used to go out in a boat and catch lobsters from the jetty there, along Lochside and even to Altnaharrie, which Anne had heard about but had never seen properly.
Thanks to Lochbroom House staff Shirley Tolmie and Heather Milne for accompanying Anne and enabling this.
A great day and brilliant showing what Mada-Chuain and the new jetty ramp can do.
