By providing pickers, bags and a storage place for rubbish collected on the beaches there, people visiting the site can gather up rubbish and eave it for us to come in and get when it fills. This is done with assistance from Keanchulish Estate Ledmore Estate allowing us access and quad use, Ullapool Harbour Trust weigh bridge, and The Highland Council helping with disposal of what we can't recycle or reuse. Today's load included the usual - ropes, twine, gloves, etc. Also a pet ball and kid's jacket. Name tagged 'Felix Marshall' - not in condition worth returning sadly but curious if anyone knew where it originated as can help identify the tidal routes and currents that carry litter around the coast and sea. Another 80 kg brought in today. Huge thanks to everyone who helps gather up the rubbish. Sttion now kitted out again. Also one on the beach to the Ullapool side of Rhue and hopefully news of a new one coming soon...
