Whilst the team are away at Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust, nice weather at home gave us the opportunity to pop out with Sea Saver Alanna and show her dad and sister what we do. We lifted a creel and saw crabs, a small lobster, a wrasse and a beautiful squat lobster. Alanna showed them how she is learning to drive the boat and even helped give her wee sister an introduction to how to be a skipper like their grandfather was. Maybe even better than he was!

We've had a series of sessions over the past two days going through the some of different types of marine waste we regularly bring in - thinking about where it originates, what can and can't put back into use and what could potentially be sent over to Green Hive for recycling....
